Misty View is a newly renovated holiday home located in Doringbaai, only 1.5km away from the beach and only 8km away from Strandfontein; the jewel of the West Coast; a beach with blue flag status. The Property & Building was the first Fish Packaging Factory in Doringbaai and the back building was used to build Fishing Ships. The house is comfortable and boasts partial sea views. From here you are close to all the restaurants and attractions that Doringbaai & Strandfontein has to offer its visitors.

The house has plenty of space and is perfect for those looking for a tranquil spot to stay and enjoy a family vacation while still being close to plenty of things to do.

The living area is spacious and has a TV with full DStv. There is a Dining & Breakfast room area where you can enjoy your home cooked meals and a fully equipped kitchen that has everything required for your stay including a dishwasher and a washing machine to make your stay a bit easier. There is a large yard and plenty of space, making this ideal for family holidays. The Upper balcony for sunset drinks and awesome views. Main lower braai-area, spills out onto a beautiful yard with space for two Camping stands.

Activities in and around Doringbaai, are plenty, exciting and interesting. Further up the West Coast even than Lambert’s Bay and Elands Bay, Doringbaai lies just south of Strandfontein and Papendorp, deep in the heart of ‘gone fishing’ land where time slows virtually to a crawl, and the sea and the sky become your daily barometers. The charm of Doringbaai will abide with you long after walking the streets.

A delightful place to stay on the West Coast Line. The lighthouse is one of the prominent features of staying here, and it’s a particularly pretty lighthouse that has elicited a fair amount of interest lately, and was built in 1963. Today the remnants of a thriving fish processing factory stand, lambasted by waves during the dire days of winter.
